OPPO has announced a new OPPO Reno 10x Zoom 12GB RAM Special Edition which will soon be up for grabs in select markets.
As it’s name suggests, this new model will arrive with a hefty 12GB RAM out of the box. Currently, the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom is available only in 6GB and 8GB variants.
This time, it comes with an increased 12GB RAM + 256 GB ROM. . With the 12GB RAM update, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom should work a lot faster, making it more efficient as well as an effective usage.
To recap, the Oppo 10x Zoom comes with a unique 10x Hybrid Zoom technology and industry-first 60x Digital Zoom thanks to its combination of a 48MP main camera, 13MP telephoto lens, and the 8MP ultra-wide angle. The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is currently retailing at MYR2999. Oppo did not announce if the 12GB RAM version would be any different in price.
The special edition model will also sport a new exclusive Ocean Blue colorway, and will come with 256GB onboard storage. Other than that, the rest of the specs remains unchanged.
The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom is a flagship device announced by OPPO back as early as in April 2019. The device also features a 6.6-inches display with 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution and a 19.5:9 tall aspect ratio which boosts a 387 ppi density.
The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom is powered by an 8-cores Snapdragon 855 SoC alongside up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage space in its memory compartment.
The device comes equipped with a triple-camera setup which comprises of a 48MP (f/1.7 aperture) main snapper, a 13MP (f/3.0 aperture) periscope telephoto sensor, as well as a 8MP (f/2.2 aperture) ultrawide sensor. On the front, there is also a 16MP (f/2.0 aperture) motorized “sharkfin” pop-up camera for selfie purposes.
The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom runs on the ColorOS 6 based on the Android 9.0 Pie OS. A massive 4,065mAh non-removable battery is available under the hood to support hours of entertainment on the go.
